That's a great question and one that deserves more than just a computer generated number.   Zestimates take the deed recordings in a geographic area to determine the number.  They don't include the condition of the home or any upgrades.  They can often be too high or too low.

That said, the best way to predict the value of your property is for us to prepare a Broker Price Opinion (BPO) on your house.  This will take into account more than just the recent sales and other quantifiable data.  It will also include subjective data that comes from years of experience and firsthand knowledge of the local market conditions.

Another thing to consider when determining what your home is worth is what a buyer is willing to pay for your property.   Ultimately, the market will only bear the property value that a buyer is willing to pay for a particular home.
